法国CAC-40指数是法国股价指数，由40只法国股票构成。由巴黎证券交易所 以其前40大上市公司的股价来编制，基期为1987年底。该指数从1988年6月5日开始发布，反映法国证券市场的价格波动。
较新的CAC-General指数由100只法国股票构成，使用更广泛，但CAC-40指数仍被视为基准指数。两种指数均以市值加权计算。CAC-40是法国国际期货交易所和巴黎期权交易所指数期权和期货的标的。

The index consists of the following companies as of the inclusion of Suez Environnement on 22 September, 2008. The index had previously consisted of just 39 companies on a temporary basis after the Suez-Gaz de France merger.
